Day 16
INDRA DEVI
Yoga Sutra 2:16
heyam dukham anaka tam
Future suffering can and will be avoided through correct practice
heyam - to be avoided
dukham - pain
anaka tam - future
The more you practice (properly, remember vinyasa!) the more Sukha (sweetness, comfort, relaxation) you can co-create and experience.
Do your daily asana practice.
Daily asana can become quite magical.
I mentioned earlier in the 40 days that her practice toward the end of her life consisted only of Padmasana (Lotus Pose) Janu Sirsasana (Head to Knee pose) Ardha Sirsasana (Half Headsand)and Ardha Matsyendrasana (Spinal Twist Posture).
Mataji’s (Indra Devi) celebrated 102 birthdays.
“It is very important to give light and love to everyone, because everyone needs affection. Let light, love and peace live today and always in our hearts. Let these words not just be words pouring out of our lips. Let light invade your whole being so that everyone may be able to love.”
~ Indra Devi
